About: Western Asset Managed Municipals Fd Inc is a non-diversified, closed-end management investment company. Its investment objective is to maximize current income exempted from federal income tax as is consistent with the preservation of principal. It predominantly invests in long-term investment grade municipal debt securities issued by state and local governments, political subdivisions, agencies, and public authorities (municipal obligations). Under normal market conditions, a majority of its total assets are invested in municipal obligations rated investment grade at the time of investment.
